We offer hand-engraving of special messages on most of our pieces.  Buyers can tell us what words they'd like added during the checkout process.

Steel is a very hard metal and we can't use standard methods or machines like those commonly used for items made from soft and precious metals, like jewellery, medals & trophies.  Those are often lasered by a machine which is driven by a computer.  Instead, we use an Airgraver, which is powered by compressed air, while our pieces are held in a very solid rotating vise and driven by a human.  This method of hand-engraving suits our pieces in style, making our work entirely hand-made.

Engraving is usually about 20 characters ~ some examples are : Tom & Sally 20/2/11 : Love you forever - 20/2/11 : 20/2/11 ~ 20/2/17.  With some of our pieces we have more room to add more words, but space can be limited on some.  We will add your message in the most appropriate place that will compliment the piece.
